At the generation of the magnetic field in the Earth's liquid core a thin boundary layer appears. The high resolution in this layer requires large computer resources in the numerical modeling of the generation. Using the theoretical resolution of the boundary layer computer resources needed for the numerical solution can be crucially decreased. In addition, the theoretical solution helps for a better understanding of the generation mechanism.
